Fall Mini Club Season 2011-2012

FSVBC will offer a fall mini club season for boys and girls ages 15* and under. The season runs from August though October.  Teams will practice 2x week and play in 4-5 scrimmage/tournaments.   

*ONLY 15 year olds that are not playing on their high school teams can participate

We feel strongly that the best way to develop our younger players is by having a combination of instruction practices with league play. We use a professional coaching staff to evaluate and categorize players and place them on teams based on their ability. This allows a player to feel comfortable with the environment they are working in and receive the appropriate instruction and development skills required for their ability. Those athletes who have never played the sport will be in a group where the focus will be on the basic skills. Those athletes who are a bit more advanced will be in a group where the focus with be on honing, reinforcing and practicing the basic skills as well as beginning to work on some more advanced skills and playing systems. As players advance in their skills and abilities they can be moved to teams with the same ability.

Our practices are 2 times a week and will begin the week of August 22

All scrimmages/mini-tournaments are held on Saturdays and Sundays

All athletes MUST be registered with AAU (our club code is TF45FT) and bring a copy of their card to the evaluation

**The gym is located in the back of the school, in between the football field and the school. Gym doors are located in the southwest corner of the building**
