Fundraising
Fundraising opportunities are available and encouraged for every Florida Sons/Suns player. Club and individual team fundraising events are made available to offset the costs of traveling to out-of-state tournaments. Any and all funds collected will be assigned to the individual players account. The Florida Sons/Suns will make every effort available to make sure that no athlete is prevented from participating for a lack of funds. However, any and all funds collected in the name of the Florida Sons/Suns are property of the Florida Sons/Suns. If for any reason a player decides to, or cannot, for any reason, continue participating in the Florida Sons/Suns current season, all and any funds collected by that player shall remain as property of the Florida Sons/Suns, and the apportionment of such funds will be at the sole discretion of the club directors and the coach of the team that the player participated with.
There are three types of fundraising:
- Club participation fundraising events (you must sign up for these)
- Individual team fundraising events (team coordinated)
- Individual player fundraising (Corporate or individual donations)
