will be a fun, learning environment for beginner and intermediate players.  

Our Academy Training Program is for beginner and intermediate athletes. We practice all year long! Our program will include skills, drills and positional training.

This will allow players the opportunity to be in the gym, learn proper technique, engage with other

similar aged players, and play some volleyball.

Academy Training participants will be divided by their skill level

**All players who inquire to be in our Academy program will be evaluated their first practice (regardless of age, or skill/ability) and placed in either Level I or Level II depending on their ability.**

• Suns in Action - Level I

Sessions:

Academy  Minis - Ages 5 - 8 - will work on coordination, developing gross and fine motor skills and teamwork

​

Academy Training - Level I - will work on basic footwork, technique, terminology, introduction to basic volleyball skills and movement, and basic combination skills and drills and introduced to team play along with the fundamentals of volleyball

​

Academy Training - Level II - will works on footwork, terminology, introduction to basic volleyball skills and movement, positions on the court, and basic combination skills and drills and introduced to team play

There is a one-time registration fee for NEW players:

$100 for players NEW to the Suns

​

For returning players there will be a $25 Returning Player Fee

​

Commitment is monthly, athlete can stop at anytime.

​

Registration fee includes 2 t-shirts that MUST be worn to each practice and a drawstring bag (No bag for returning players)

MANDATORY that all participants be a member of AAU Volleyball, www.aauvolleyball.org.  AAU Volleyball covers the liability for the player, coaches and venue.  Our 2021 -2022 club code is W34E99.  Please use this link to register for AAU
